Drink of the Week: Skittles Vodka

What you need: 1 Large bag of Skittles, 1 bottle of plain vodka
For the color effect separate the colors or mix them all together or just your favorite flavors. 1.  Pour out some of the vodka (about 1/4)2. Add the Skittles3. Put the cap back on and shake it

4, It takes hours to dissolve all the Skittles. To speed up the process some users said you can put it in the dishwasher during the wash cycle.  However, best results happen doing it naturally.

5.  Don’t be alarmed once the Skittles have dissolved you will see a gross layer that formed.  Just scrape it off, and you will be left with some gorgeous colored Vodka.

6. To help remove the layer pour the vodka through a coffee filter using a strainer.

Make sure it is very cold, pour skittle martinis, shots, or drinks!
